Solution :

let the number of days be = D

number of Black cows be  = L

number of Brown cows be = R

according to the problem statement ==> 4 black cows and 3 brown cows give as much milk in 5 days as 3 black cows and 5 brown cows give in 4 days.

This can be written in the form of equation like this,

5D(4L + 3R) = 4D(3L + 5R)

20DL + 15DR = 12DL + 20DR

20DL - 12DL= 20DR - 15DR

8DL = 5DR

8L = 5R

It is clear from the equation that we would need 8 black cow to give the same amount of milk as 5 brown cows. hence brown cow gives the most milk.
